******Vice President releases the book titled-“The Beautiful World”*
*Says traveling enhances our understanding of the world*
*New Delhi, 9 February 2021* The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu today said that travelling and meeting different people enriches our experience and helps us understand different cultures in a better way. “I have learned a lot by touring extensively inside and outside India”, he said.
The Vice President made these remarks while interacting with the dignitaries after releasing the book titled- ‘The Beautiful World’ at Upa-Rashtrapati Nivas today. The book, written by retired IAS officer and former Chief Secretary of Bihar, Dr M.A. Ibrahimi is a travelogue and chronicles the details of his journeys to over 30 countries across the world.
The Vice President appreciated Dr Ibrahimi for sharing his travel experiences in the book form and hoped that it would educate readers about different regions and cultures.
Shri Narendra Kumar, Chairman of Haranand Publications, Shri Ashok Gosain, Publisher of Haranand Publications, Dr. Asmi Raza, Professor of Economics and senior journalis, Ms. Marya Shakil were among those who attended the event.
