I am shocked to know about the sad demise of Justice Rajinder Sachar. He was a great jurist, chief justice, campaigner for rights and development of minority communities, especially of the Muslim community. He presented the report on the Economic, Social and Educational status of Muslim community which opened eyes of the government. He was committed to secularism and safeguard of constitutional rights of the weaker sections and minority communities.
His passing away is a great loss to India and it’s marginalized people. I pay my tribute to him. I pray his soul rest in peace. I also pray to give strength to the family and friends of departed soul to bear the irreparable loss.
