Condolence of Dr. Shah M Imtiaz
Dr. Shah MP Imtiaz belonged to Munger. He did MBBS from Darbhanga Medical College.
Later he went United Kingdom. There he joined National Health Service. As a sincere doctor he earned great respect from patients and other people, almost all white people, in society. He also joined Labour Party of Britain. He was elected Mayor of City of Aberdare in Wales in UK. He was Governor of University of Swansea also.
His opinion was always sought by British authorities on matters related to Indian community in Britain. The High Commissioners of India to Britain used to take his advice also. Some of them used to stay at his house for consultation.
He was a remarkable human being. He was a noble soul dedicated to service of humanity. He always remembered his roots, relatives and friends. He was generous and philanthropist. His courtesy to all fellow beings was rare.
He constructed a modern hostel for boys who are studying at Madarsa at Munger. He used to bear cost of their food besides upkeep of hostel. His philanthropy is visible at Munger, Delhi and Britain.
He founded Shah Homair Foundation at Patna in memory of his father. The Foundation is active on educational and social front.
The untimely demise of Dr. Shah Imtiaz is great personal loss to me. He is among very few people whose selfless service and dedication to humanity has been always inspiration to me. He was my most sincere friend. He was like my own elder brother. I always felt proud to be close to him.
I pray Allah for Maghferat and Jannat ul Firdaus. I also pray that Allah to give strength to his family, relatives, friends and admirers to bear the irreparable loss.
